Leila at the front desk is incredible. She went above and beyond to make our stay that much better and is the kindest person. I can not rave about her service and personality enough, it was a joy getting to speak with her every morning. In fact most of employees were incredibly kind and went out of their way to welcome you or just ask how your day is going. Definitely reccomend staying here.

What an amazing hotel! Was fortunate enough to stay at the Hyatt regency Sonoma county a few weeks back, and let me just say from the service, to the food, to the cleanliness of the rooms, this hotel exceeded my expectations. And in such a beautiful location there is so much to do in the area. I want to give a special shout out to Nathan from valet who always had my car ready for me when I needed it, and was above and beyond helpful in more ways than one. Also nahir from front desk, really just great energy from everyone around - made me feel very welcomed and I was definitely taking care of.

I'm only a lower level Hyatt loyalist, so I wasn't expecting much in terms of acknowledgement of elite perks. I also read a lot of polarizing reviews about Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country, but wanted to give this hotel a chance during a wine tasting weekend with my husband. We are so glad we stayed here. Service was really good and helpful despite being understaffed. The location is super convenient in terms of driving/parking and walking to nearby restaurants, bars, and even a couple of tasting rooms. We were upgraded to a bigger room that was the perfect size for us. Condition of the room and spacious bathroom were good and clean. There are a lot of families so noise can sometimes be an issue but just bring a white noise machine and you should be fine. Will definitely return to this hotel when we have another wine tasting trip!

Overall, the experience was good and I will consider returning. -GOOD- House keeping was attentive to detail. Clean heated pool area. Hospitality was good. -BAD- Dismissive front desk clerk (one off, not recurring). Long phone wait for front desk occasionally. Lack of communication between valet and reception. P.S. Ethan a younger valet shows an excellent level of professionalism and hospitality. He made my first 2 days here memorable.

Just finished a 2-night weekend stay here - booked with points - only 18k points total for the 2 nights (I'm a Globalist - so free parking and breakfast). It feels like this hotel gets a lot of flak. But this is the third time I've stayed here and this is my best experience yet. First, it feels like the whole hotel feels recently renovated. It isn't just a fresh coat of paint. But many little touches too. The furniture all feel high quality and sturdy. The elevator is very fast! Common areas are clean. And loved our bathroom where the toilet is in a separate mini-room versus the shower & sink. Oh, and the TV had working fast Chromecast - meaning I can stream everything! The pool and jacuzzi are both in a green setting - and both are heated. Plenty of lounge chairs and shade. It's right next to a big patio/yard area. Very much enjoyed our time there. Others have talked about homeless people close by. We didn't see any in the parking area or on the grounds. We originally booked a king room (with 2 adults and 1 child) since that's the only room available with points. That room only has a "sitting sofa" (see picture); not a sofabed - so I was initially worried about where our 11-year old would sleep. They eventually gave me a 2-queen room. So I didn't have to worry about the sleeping arrangements. It turned out the "sitting sofa" can fit a person about 5'2" long - so we would have been fine even with just a king room. Globalist breakfast-wise - the buffet is indeed just average. But I really liked the fresh fruit - they had a blackberry, raspberry, blueberry mix; and a lot of oatmeal/yogurt toppings. We could also order off the menu (see picture) - but only 1 item - we got the Avacado toast with 2 eggs - and it was yummy. The place does get crowded on Sunday morning - peak at about 9:30. So come early. Service-wise, one thing I did find slightly annoying is how slow they were to answer text messages. Each text took a couple hours to respond. Luckily, when I texted about the room change/upgrade Friday morning and they were able to resolve it by early afternoon - plenty of time before I arrived in the evening. But I also did ask about getting a microwave to our room. They originally agreed to do so in the text, but I didn't find one when I arrived. Had to ask them again in person on Saturday morning and they delivered it in 1/2 hour. Yes - the microwave in room is very convenient since they did not have a single common-use one on the premise. Anyways, these are minor issues and didn't detract from an excellent great stay - especially at such great value.

I attended a great party last night, for my brother’s birthday, and every single thing was perfect. The food was lovely and delicious. My room was understated and beautifully appointed, and very very spacious. In fact the entire property was lovely and extremely warm and welcoming, from the front lounge/reception area with a burning fireplace and infused chilled water, to the parking lot, where I was parked in the valet lot, maybe 30 feet to the door. But this is the main reason for my review: every single person I had an exchange with at all, from the gentleman opening doors for everyone that walked in or out, to everyone I spoke to or interacted with, either in person or over the phone,, including every single one of the people on the serving or wait staff, were incredibly warm and friendly. So much so that I am compelled to leave this review. Seriously, it was very, very nice stay. Oh, the bed was perfect!! That’s important, as were the toiletry amenities. Very rich and great quality. I recommend 1000 %! Thank you so much, Hyatt Regency l, Sonoma Wine Country location, specifically. I very much look forward to my next stay. You just font get this kind of service everywhere.

My friend and I had the wonderful privilege of staying at this beautiful hotel in Santa Rosa! The front desk treated us so kindly and upgraded us to a Junior Suite. It was stunning with an outdoor veranda. A special shoutout to Nathan. He took care of our car and luggage and helped us tremendously throughout our 3 day stay. Above and beyond! What a great human being
